Career

Career timeline

From education in philosophy and psych to self-taught front-end and Salesforce, then into product (Room, Arizona government, LendingTree, Podium), YouTube, and Coinbase—where I've gone from Salesforce and Discord bots to driving AI agent work on LangChain.

  • Current·2023 – present

    Senior Software Engineer @ Coinbase

Almost three years at Coinbase. Started as a Salesforce engineer; have since led and driven key initiatives across the stack—from production Discord bots to AI agents—while owning technical direction on these projects.

    • ·Started as a pure Salesforce engineer; expanded into full-stack and platform work.
    • ·Led the rollout of a Discord bot service: production bots for support, integrated with Salesforce and other internal platforms (Go-based services).
    • ·Support portal: React and Next.js for critical user flows.
    • ·Over the last year, driving AI agent work on LangChain—multi-turn agents, RAG pipelines, LangSmith observability—in production. Work featured at LangChain Interrupt 2026 and on the Coinbase Engineering Blog.
  • Big tech·2022

    YouTube @ Google

Built the UI flow with web standards (HTML, JavaScript, and backend services) to support contract management for the YouTube Shorts rollout. When Shorts launched, content creators had to be signed onto new incentive plans—shipped the wizard for sales reps and account managers to run that process. Spot bonus for excellent delivery.

  • Industry·2021 – 2022

    LendingTree → Podium @ SaaS

Continued building in SaaS at LendingTree and Podium—full-stack and platform work before moving into big tech.

  • Government·2020 – 2021

    Arizona Government

Couple of years in the public sector. Shipped production systems and learned to operate in regulated, high-stakes environments.

  • First break·2019 – 2020

Salesforce Developer (Contract) @ Room, Phonebooths Inc

First formal dev role. Built sales pipeline tooling, campaign setup automation, lead routing, lead scoring, and lead management—delivering end-to-end CRM solutions.

  • Self-taught & early career·2016 – 2017

    Front-end & Salesforce

Learned HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (Codecademy) while working as an SDR at SaaS companies. Picked up Salesforce Admin and development in parallel; set the stage for a move into technical roles.

  • Education·2006 – 2013

    UC Berkeley → NYU

Philosophy at UC Berkeley—a national top-ten program with a rigorous focus on logic, semantics, and meaning—then clinical psychology at NYU. Study abroad in South Africa, Israel, and Italy. That foundation in reasoning, cognition, and human systems now informs how I approach agentic AI and human-in-the-loop design.
